Surf the Day away in pedasi

Playa Venau is considered one of the best surf beaches in the area and people come from all over the world to surf here.  Gigi, the owner of Shokogi, a surf, kite surfing and paddle boarding rental shop on the shores of Playa Venau describes how there is surf here "all year long," but notes that the "best conditions for surfing are typically from March to October. "  Gigi stated that they have a big range of sizes and types of board including boards good for beginners as well as for those seeking high performance boards.  For kitesurfing, Gigi rents gear and offers courses out of Isla Iguana from December to April.  

We have had many great days at Playa Venau on our trips to Pedasi.   By far one of our best days has included playing in the waves and renting surfboards from Shokogi.  Catching some waves and then enjoying a margarita from the infinity pool next door is hard to beat!
