Kaliman--The Heart and Soul of Pedasi

If you want to know the true heart and soul of Pedasi, you must get to know Kaliman.  Kaliman is quite simply the man to go see to clean and cut fish.  Kaliman said that his given name is Earnesto, but that he started calling himself Kaliman after an Arabian novel he listened to on the radio when he was young.  He shared that he has been cleaning and cutting fish "all his life," saying that he first learned the trade when he was 16 years old.  When Kaliman was asked, he stated that he was originally supposed to be a fisherman, but he didn't like it, but he truly enjoyed cutting and cleaning fish so that is what he has done for his life.  Kaliman lives in the city of Pedasi and you can find him working from sunup.  He has a cheerful disposition, a friendly disposition and can be found around town enjoying the local nightlife.
